Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care offers walk-in services seven days a week from 8 am to 10 pm. You can make an appointment online or by calling (800) 668-7326. You will need your Northwell ID and insurance information to make an appointment.
When you arrive, the staff will take your name and date of birth and check in with the hospital where you were admitted. If you are not already seen there, they will transfer you over.
Once you are checked in, the staff will take you on a quick tour of the facility so that you know what to expect. The waiting area is comfortable with plenty of magazines and TV screens for entertainment.
You can wait anywhere from five minutes to two hours, but the average wait time is about thirty minutes. Once your name is called, one of the nurses will lead you back to the exam room where your doctor or nurse practitioner will be waiting for you.
